What are Giclee prints?

Giclee (jhee-clay) is a French word, meaning "the spraying of ink." It is a term used to refer to a unique printing technology. A giclee print is the closest mechanical duplication of an original artwork that is currently possible.

The inks are water based, offer a high UV resistance, and under museum archival conditions are light-fast up to 70 years. The art is printed on Somerset rag watercolor paper.

Caution! Light fades all artwork. Do not hang in direct or reflecting sunlight. Fluorescent light fades art. Framing your art under conservation glass will help preserve your investment, but, nevertheless, please observe the above light caution.
